Develop your projects with us.

We develop partnerships with schools in order to foster a different school experience for students. We aim to equip and prepare students for the realities of the labour market while developing their social skills and abilities.

School perseverance services

Additional support for students at risk of dropping out

The Secrétariat à la Jeunesse of the Quebec government has requested that the Carrefours Jeunesse-Emploi offer a school perseverance program in addition to the existing services at educational institutions.

The School Perseverance component is designed to encourage the academic success of youth over the age of 15 and to provide them with the resources they need to help them graduate.

The school perseverance service provides support to youth at risk of dropping out or who have recently dropped out of school in order to encourage them to take control of their academic journey.

The following services are offered free of charge:

Individual or group counselling services
Supporting youth to achieve their goals
Helping students develop socio-professional skills
The development of self-esteem and self-reliance through various workshops or activities

Group workshops

The CJE can travel to your schools to offer informational workshops on a variety of topics:

Topic: School perseverance
Topic: Transitioning to Adult Life
Topic: Preparing for the labour market

Ateliers de groupe
Accompanying projects

The CJE will support youth in schools to develop their own entrepreneurial or volunteer project. This service fosters the acquisition of skills through the realization of a project. By participating, students are encouraged to develop their creativity, learn about entrepreneurship or volunteering, and have a great professional experience.

The activities carried out promote the acquisition of knowledge that is transferable to the classroom or job market.

Volunteer stream: youth involvement activities in the community, outside of school hours (possibility of funding)
Entrepreneurship stream: development of an entrepreneurial project (in the classroom)
